Tire Rack Street Survival

The Tire Rack Street Survival School is a teen safe-driving program.  It gives teens across the United States the skills and hands-on experience needed to become safer, smarter drivers.  The school provides trained and qualified in-car driving instructors, as well as valuable classroom experience for each student. We use the student’s own car to teach them about its handling limits and how to control them.

The Tire Rack Street Survival School goes beyond antiquated high school driver education programs, which put more focus on theory and parallel parking rather than controlling a 4,000 pound vehicle at variable speeds.  The Tire Rack Street Survival School puts the focus instead on imminent traffic situations.  Students are trained to widen the scope of their visual attention, learning to look far enough ahead on roadways to anticipate the unwise actions of other drivers.
